Target Audience:

This activity is intended for physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers who provide or want to provide smoking cessation interventions to patients.

Program Overview:

Physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers who provide or want to provide smoking cessation interventions to patients are encouraged to participate in this online CME/CE activity that summarizes material presented at the Beyond the 5A’s Conference. Beyond the 5 A’s was a meeting held November 13-15, 2013 that brought together public health tobacco cessation experts, systems decision-makers, healthcare providers and researchers to translate recent advances in both evidence and practice into action that will improve the frequency and effectiveness of smoking cessation interventions delivered by healthcare professionals.
