Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of PAs involved in the care of patients with psoriasis.

Program Overview

This interactive activity incorporates cases to provide up-to-date information for PAs on assessing the severity of psoriasis, identifying comorbid conditions, advances in systemic treatment, and referring patients to psoriasis specialists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

• Describe the clinical features of psoriasis
• Discuss the assessment of psoriasis severity
• Recognize comorbid conditions commonly seen in patients with psoriasis
• Review advances and current trends in the treatment of plaque psoriasis
• Utilize best practices for when to refer psoriasis patients to a specialist
