Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of neurologists, primary care physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals who participate in the management of patients with migraine and cluster headache.

Program Overview

This activity reviews advances in the understanding and treatment of migraine and cluster headache, as well as best practices for diagnosis and for personalizing therapy.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Utilize best practices and current criteria to support differential diagnosis of headache
  • Discuss the pathophysiology of migraine and cluster headache and the rationale for newer and emerging therapies
  • Review clinical evidence on newer and emerging therapies for migraine and cluster headache
  • Utilize patient-specific considerations and evidence on newer and emerging therapies for the personalized treatment of migraine and cluster headache
