This web activity provides an update on guidance techniques for the safe and effective injection of botulinum toxin in patients with cervical dystonia, limb dystonias, and spasticity.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:
- Demonstrate guidance techniques for the safe and effective injection of botulinum toxin in patients with cervical dystonia, limb dystonias, and spasticity
- Improve healthcare provider confidence in performing botulinum toxin procedures including their ability to incorporate ultrasound guidance during, and patient outcomes following, chemodenervation procedures
- Develop strategies for individualizing therapy and assisting patients with cervical dystonia, limb dystonias, and spasticity in achieving their functional goals
