Target Audience

This activity is intended for pulmonologists with a secondary audience of family practitioners, internists, critical care clinicians, advanced practice nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with IPF.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Formulate a differential diagnosis for IPF from other interstitial lung diseases
  • Plan to execute timely treatment approaches in consideration of patient health status and certainty of IPF diagnosis
  • Plan effective strategies to manage anticipated disease- and treatment-related side effects associated with IPF
