Psychiatrists, primary care clinicians, nurses, and other specialists caring for patients with schizophrenia.
After participating in this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Explain different models of multidisciplinary care for mental health patients, including assertive community therapy and coordinated specialty care, and the staffing requirements for each model.
- Formulate an overall care plan while balancing clinician and patient goals.
- Plan a communication structure to be used in various multidisciplinary care team settings.
- Describe roles of the various multidisciplinary team members in terms of how they impact treatment selection and adherence in patients with schizophrenia.

There are no fees for participating and receiving credit for this activity. During the period August 8, 2016 through August 8, 2017, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures; 2) study the educational activity; and 3) complete the post-test and the evaluation form.
